The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence for the year 2024-25 are master's scholarships designed for international students who aspire to undertake one of the eligible Master's programs available at ENS de Lyon. The scholarship offers a 1,000€ monthly stipend.
Scholarships for enrollment in ENS de Lyon's Master's programs in the human and social sciences, arts, and exact sciences are available to deserving international students through partnerships with the institution (excluding FEADép Master's programs). The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence offer exceptional international students the chance to pursue their studies in one of the qualifying Master's programs offered at ENS de Lyon.
Degree Level:
Masters level programs at ENS de Lyon are available to recipients of the Ampere Excellence Scholarships 2024–25, France.
Subjects Available:
All Master's degrees in the Human and Social Sciences, the Arts, and the Exact Sciences are acceptable (except for FEADéP Master's degrees).
Benefits of the Scholarship:
Recipients of the Ampère Scholarships of Excellence are eligible for the following benefits:
- Approximately 20 scholarships are awarded annually.
- Scholarship Amount: €1,000 per month for one academic year, with the possibility of renewal under specific conditions.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the Ampère Scholarships of Excellence, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

Eligible Candidates:
- Applicants must be foreign nationals born on or after January 1st, 1997 (maximum age of 26 years).
- Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Master's program must provide evidence of holding a Licence degree (equivalent to 180 ECTS European credits) or an equivalent diploma/qualification.
- Candidates applying for admission to the second year of the Master's program must provide proof of having successfully completed the first year (equivalent to 240 ECTS European credits) or hold an equivalent diploma/qualification.
